Dental Assisting Pathways

Pathway I: 
This pathway is for the student with no previous dental experience. Students attend classes in a traditional on-campus setting blended with online components. Students should expect to complete the program in three consecutive semesters.

Pathway IIThis pathway is for the dental assistant with two or more years of dental assisting experience. The applicant also must be a current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) meaning that they have passed all three portions of the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) CDA exam. Students should expect to complete the program in one semester.

1. Be a Current or Recently Admitted/Readmitted Student
You must be a current WCC student or recently admitted/readmitted. If you haven’t taken credit classes in 2 or more years, you’ll need to reapply to the College. Once your admission or readmission is complete, you’ll be able to log in to your online application account.
